Just went here for the first time. I liked it. Wife thought some was overcooked. I didn't mind. Good, cheerful service.
Best Chinese in Yakima. Always fresh and worth the wait.
Stopped in before the lunch rush and I am thinking that was a bad idea. It seemed like all the food on the buffet table was cold or luke warm. Tasted like it was probably yesterdays food at best. Poor value and poor quality food. Right now I feel bad for what I put in my tummy and it is feeling like it won't be in there long! I am shocked how well this place rates for how terrible the food is!
Great Thai food!! Best in Yakima!
Always great!
It’s a superb place to enjoy slices of authentic Asian food. We tried their dinner set, Pad Thai and Iced Thai Tea and they were all satisfying my asian taste 👍🏻
Good food, nice people
I came to Yakima for a job conferences, and I found this Thai restaurant on Google map with high ratings, so I wanted to try out, they have variety of different Thai and Chinese foods, I ordered Thai ice tea, pad Thai noodles and green curry chicken, it was delicious, the owner is nice and friendly with customers, I highly recommended.
By far one of the worst eating experiences of my life. I can't even begin to describe how disgusting this food was. Also way over priced with too many rules regarding the buffet. Extra charge for "excessive leftovers." Well if they made food that was mildly edible, maybe you wouldn't have such a left over issue. Epic fail.
The best Chinese food in Yakima, I’ve tried them all. I’ve never eating the buffet, but I order out from here at least once a week. Sesame chicken and lo main is where it’s at. I’ve tried a few of their Thai dishes, but prefer the Chinese food here. Run by a very kind family.
The food is not as good as I remember as a kid and for the portions you get the price is to high
Perhaps the best Asian food in Yakima. The ambiance may be lacking but the food is Incredible.
So so food wasn't bad. Somewhat run down interior and decor.
I ate so much at the buffet that I threw up? Sorry..
I ate so much that I got sick the food was the great but I got overcharge for my stuff then I ateded too much thanks for that though it sucked.
Food was comparable to a lower class old country buffet $15 for an all-you-can-eat buffet when they literally have 10 different items on the entire menu to choose from minus the drinks is absurd. may be considered adequate for someone who wants a quick bite to eat during their lunch break and the middle of the day when there's no other options around but to go there on a date or take someone that I actually care about what they eat I think not. there was barely anything within the trays almost as if they keep it low to avoid throwaway cost not to mention the fish was not appetizing smelling at all and this is coming from someone who loves sushi and eel and calamari
Only had one experience with it so far but will be returning! Their food was pretty good, but it definitely seems like a place you'd want to sit down at rather than trying to get going quick. I was hoping for a Panda Express type of quick Chinese fast food. That's all.
Small buffet food was hot and fresh. Strongly recommend.
Our catering for the wedding, very tasty food, a little oily though
The service and the food were excellent! Definitely recommend this place for a great dining experience!
Great food! Amazing chicken chow mein
Always tasty, Never disappointed.
Love this place. Delicious food and friendly service. I usually only get thai from there, but have tried the Chinese as well. The Larb is my favorite. Very pungent and full of flavor. Served with lettuce to scoop with, which makes it the perfect light dish in hotter weather.
Nothing was - bad-, but everything was mediocre at best. Prices higher than I'd expect for this type of place even if the quality were higher. Chinese combo meal was close to par with what you might get at Safeway, but after it'd been sitting in the warming trays for a while. Tom Kah soup was fine, but not particularly well balanced, somewhat lacking in flavor, and choice of veggies was uninspired. Chicken pieces were rather dry and tough. Steamed rice included some that was actually burnt. Thai tea was fairly yummy, but also over-the-top sweet, even for Thai tea.
Tried it the first time for lunch the other day had Chicken Low Mein. It was wonderful. Service fast and friendly. Highly Recommend this restaurant 👌😊.
It's really good food and servive
Shared one of the Chinese meals, it was decent. The fried rice was the best item. It was very flavorful and had a great crispiness to it. Will return to try the Thai options.
The staff is always pleasant and the quality of the food is excellent!
The best noodle dishes and curries.
Great family owned restaurant. I recommend the curry and pra ram. Great friendly service.
This food ain’t very good. Poor quality ingredients. And then it tastes like it’s stale or something The people that said, best Thai food ever, must’ve never had Thai food before. They got one star for at least being nice and not treating me funny in my wheelchair, like most Chinese places do
Might as well just go to Safeway and get Chinese. Food was old, tasted old definitely waste of money.
Still my favorite weekday lunch spot after 8 years...if you like good tasting quality food that is prepared and seved by a loving family this is for you.
Excellent food. Good customer service.
Good buffett.
This is the best Tea Garden Chinese and Thai restaurant in Yakima Washington. I could not believe how good the service & food was at this restaurant. I loved there food so much that during our company’s training that we had to do in Yakima, Wa for our security company we went to this restaurant. I love Chinese food but I like the Thai food the best. The restaurant was very clean. Great place to go to if you live in Yakima or just passing through. Thank You for the great food. George
It was very good
Love this place!! Amazing service and great tasting food. An for the comment below mine is false there is no charge for taking your left over food from the buffet home. There is however a charge if you eat at the buffet and waste alot of food that took alot of time to prepare and cook not to mention that someone else would of ate is a good thing.. Alot of good food goes wasted in America
I ate so much I got sick sorry?
Extremely patient and polite servers and a robust menu of freshly prepared Chinese and Thai dishes make this a regular stop.
I ate too much, I'm sorry but the food had made me sick?
I feel like this place should have negative stars. The food was old and I didn't even make it back to my office before the food came back up. Also, even though I didn't want to I did out of fear of an extra charge as there was a sign literally at every table. Not to mention the signs that were on the wall telling us that if we took a to go plate from the buffet we would be charged on the size and type of food we loaded it with. On a happy note I didn't see a single stray cat or dog within 5 miles of this place. In conclusion, great stray eradication service, terrible food.
Delicious! Huge portions. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
I did not like the good here. It tasted nasty! I've never seen an egg roll like they served (see photo)Also it wasn't very clean even the salt and pepper shakers were dirty.
Awesome food. Great service. Will be going back to this spot for sure.
I'm not sure what these other folks on here are eating, but it is not what I had. I had the buffet and all the food looked and tasted as if it were cooked at least three days ago. The chicken in all chicken dishes was slimy, rubbery and cold. Based on my current gastrointestinal distress, I feel as though they may have used syrup of ipecac in their sauces. I can not emphasize enough how much I recommend avoiding this restaurant.
Wonderful Restaurant with great foods. We ordered Generally Tso, Pad Thai, and Curry.
The owner brought out a tarp to put under my newborn daughter. She was really afraid that the baby would make a mess. Made me feel embarrassed and discriminated against. Buffet was 13$ which is high especially when Minado is so much better for 12$. On the other hand the pad Thai was good. There is a nasty sign on the wall that says you will be charged more for any leftovers you leave. I guess in their world the customers please the owners of the business. Wonder how long they will stay open. I’m never giving them another $
It's a great little place to eat, alsways on my list for lunch. Has a small lunch buffet, perfect for those working or in the downtown Yakima area during lunch. The bus station is right across the street, not the greatest neighborhood, but never felt unsafe. It's typical food for the Yakima area, don't try to compare it to big cities or other high end fancy restaurants. It's
Love this place been in business for 12 years and really nice to the kids. Very kid friendly. Do recommend. The food was amazing
